We were starting to get a little cakey with our cookies so we decided to modify the recipe once again. This time success, very chips ahoy style cookies, flat, dark, delicious.
Preheat oven to 325.
1 cup of butter, cooled not melted.
1 cup of sugar.
1 cup of dark brown sugar.
Cream these all together.
Add 2 tsp salt.
1.5 tsp vanilla extract.
1 tsp baking soda.
Add 3 cups of flower slowly mixing in between each.
Add 1/4 cup of water.
Add 1 bag semi-sweet chips.
Using a small scoop put 12 on un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake 12-18 minutes until golden brown, cool and enjoy.
